Worldwide call for creative talent: An open brief from the United Nations

A global challenge, issued to creatives by the United Nations at the end of March 2020, to lend their immense talents and imagination to help the UN and its World Health Organisation communicate how to avoid or minimise the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic. The organisation needed a strong message that would resonate across all languages, cultures, communities and platforms, because it needed to reach everyone, everywhere.


Production of posters during the March 2020 lockdown. Animation, supervision and production of posters over 2 days, with graphic designers in training from Maks vzw, while working on a short non-commercial project of general interest. We then published the posters on the Stay Safe Stay Sane image bank, among more than 2,000 contributions from 86 countries.
