The Client
Belgian Mojoca Friendship Network is a support network for street children in Guatemala City.
The briefing
To redesign of the organisation’s presentation leaflet, with the aim to make it clearer and easier to read, update the information and reach out to a younger audience.
Key stages
1. Analysing the existing design
Before any redesign, it’s crucial to evaluate the previous leaflet. What are its weak points? What improvements can be made? This stage identifies which elements should be retained and which should be modernised.
In this case, the content was very dense and heavy, the layout was not very ergonomic and the visuals were heavy and outdated. The triptych format made the whole thing rather confusing.
2. Creating a clean, modern design
A clean design highlights the essential information.
We kept the font combination to maintain continuity with the past, and accentuated the hierarchical contrast. The use of white space and harmonious colours contributes to a professional and attractive appearance.
3. Adding striking visuals
Quality images and illustrations bring the leaflet to life. The visuals reflect the values and actions of the association, while capturing the reader’s interest.
Apart from the choice of photos, we opted for medallions to highlight the benefits of the donations.
Benefits
By investing in this graphic redesign, the organisation is positioning itself as a modern and credible player. The new leaflet will attract more support, raise the profile of its actions and make it easier to get its message across.
Conclusion : towards greater impact
The graphic redesign of the Belgian Mojoca Friendship Network leaflet is more than just an aesthetic update. It is also an opportunity to strengthen its communication, unite its members and raise awareness of its values and projects among a wider audience.
